I'm in a store and scan a product which may not be on sale. My ScanLife app shows me a list of online retailers from Amazon to Wal-Mart. Bingo! Since the product is on sale for 20% less, I can click to buy it right on the phone or send it to my email address to purchase at home.

I just bought a cool navigation device for my brother, but I realize after I get home that it does not come with the car dock needed to really use it. I scan the barcode on the navigation device, and click on Accessories. The car dock loads and I can choose from a list of online prices to buy it right on the phone.

I'm in the store, shopping for a DVD player. There are a bunch of options, but the store is packed and there is no one around to help. I scan a couple that I am interested in and see a list of user reviews who have already bought and used those DVD players. One has 4.5 stars and the other has only 3. I think I will take the one with the higher rating!

I'm in a store, and they have run out of a hot toy. I can enter the name of the product to search for it in my area. I see that Sears has it in stock, and it's only 1.7 miles away from my current location. I can quickly run over to buy it, or just purchase it online.

I'm at home, preparing for my holiday food shopping. I find a few that I want, click to email, and bring them to the store to save on my next purchase.

I am doing some shopping, and see a new book I think my friend would like. I scan the code, and click 'Share' to send the link to my Facebook wall and email it to my dad. Now, they can click on that link, and buy the book right from their PC!

I am grocery shopping for my daughter who has a peanut allergy. I can scan the barcodes of any food product to see what allergens they contain. I can also view nutritional info, so I know my daughter is eating safe and healthy.
