What is the dCoupon service?
dCoupon is a service which allows consumers to get digital coupons from their favorite brands and redeem them at participating grocery stores. The dCoupon service is becoming available at more and more grocery stores every day.

Is the dCoupon service free?
The dCoupon service is completely free to consumers.

 How does dCoupon work?

  1. Download the dCoupon mobile app or visit www.dcoupon.mx to sign up for an account.
  2. Select the coupons that you’d like to redeem.
  3. Add them to your account.
  4. Redeem the coupons at dCoupon participating stores.

How can I get coupons for the dCoupon service?  
You can get coupons directly on www.dcoupon.mx or from the dCoupon mobile app by clicking on “Find Coupons.”  In addition, each brand distributes their coupons in their own ways. 

How do I access my dCoupon account?
You can access your dCoupon account through the dCoupon mobile app, or at www.dcoupon.mx on your desktop, tablet or mobile device. Click on “My Coupons” to view your coupons. 

How often are new coupons made available on the dCoupon service?
The dCoupon service is expanding to increase coupon variety and availability.  Be sure to check back often for new coupons.

Do I need a Smartphone to use the dCoupon service?
Yes, you must have a smartphone to utilize the dCoupon service.

How do I receive a coupon in my dCoupon account?
To receive a coupon, you must select the coupon and store it in your dcoupon account. After storing a new coupon, you can go to “My Coupons” to view your list of coupons.

May I store the same coupon multiple times in my dCoupon account?
Each coupon is unique.  The brand determines how many coupons a consumer may redeem and store at a time. 

Can I redeem more than one coupon per item?
No, you cannot redeem more than one coupon per item. If allowed by the brand, you may be able to download more than one of the same coupon.

What is a disabled coupon?
A disabled coupon is a coupon that you currently have stored in your dCoupon account, but if it is applicable to a purchase, it will not be redeemed. 

I no longer see a coupon that was once available. How do I find it?
Only active coupons will appear in your coupon list. 

How long are coupons valid?
Each coupon is unique.  View the details of each coupon to confirm expiration dates.

What is the maximum number of coupons that can be stored?
There is no limit to the number of coupons that can be stored in your dCoupon account.  A brand has the ability to limit the number of coupons that can be downloaded for each offer, or by a single consumer.

How can I delete a coupon from my dCoupon account?
Coupons cannot be deleted from your dCoupon account. You are able to enable or disable a coupon from your “My Coupons” list.

Note: Once a coupon expires, it will automatically disappear from your “My Coupons” list.

Can I use dCoupon coupons and retailer coupons at the same time?

What happens if I have several dCoupon coupons for an item? Which coupon will be applied?
dCoupon prioritizes based on the maximum discount. The rule is to apply the coupon with the biggest discount, although this doesn’t always apply when using percentage discount coupons. You have the option to select which coupon to apply.

Can I print my coupons and show them to the cashier to scan them?
No, printed coupons from the dCoupon Service will not be accepted.  dCoupon is a digital service which requires a Smartphone for redemption.

Where can I redeem my dCoupon coupons?
Upon selecting a coupon you can find participating locations. It is important to check this information for each coupon. Grocery stores connected to the dCoupon service can be seen in the dCoupon mobile app by clicking on the “Grocery Store” section in the "My Coupons" tab.  Grocery stores connected to dCoupon will show a distinctive dCoupon logo so that you can identify participation.

Can I filter My Coupons by grocery store?
Yes, in the “My Coupons” section of your dCoupon account, click on “Grocery Stores,” then select a grocery store to filter by.  This will allow you to view coupons that can redeemed at that specific grocery store.

Can I add and link my loyalty cards to my dCoupon account?
Yes. By selecting "Loyalty cards" in the "My Coupons" section within the dCoupon mobile app, you can view the different loyalty cards that are supported by the dCoupon service. To add your loyalty card, click the + symbol next to that grocery store.

How do I redeem my coupons?
The dCoupon service allows several ways to redeem coupons.  All coupons that are applicable to the purchase will be applied (unless disabled). Ask your grocery store which method of redemption is permitted. The possible methods are:

  1. QR code scanning at POS. After all of your items have been scanned by the cashier, he or she will ask you if you have any coupons.  If so, the cashier will direct you to scan the QR code at the POS.  To do this, open your dCoupon mobile app, click on “Scan Barcode,” and scan the QR Code.  All applicable coupons corresponding to your purchase will be applied. 
  2. Temporary code. After all of your items have been scanned by the cashier, he or she will ask you if you have any coupons.  If so, the cashier will ask for your temporary code.  To get your temporary code, open your dCoupon mobile app, click on “My Coupons,” then click on “Temporary Code.” The cashier may ask you to tell hi mor her the number which appears above the QR Code, or to see the QR Code itself to scan it.  The number and QR Code are only valid for a short time.  A new number and QR Code is generated every time you redeem coupons. 
  3. Loyalty card.  If the supermarket has integrated its loyalty system with the dCoupon service, this will allow consumers to redeem their coupons using their loyalty card directly with the POS.

 What is a temporary code is?
A temporary code is a number and QR Code which allows for redemption of your coupons. To get your temporary code, open your dCoupon mobile app, click on “My Coupons,” then click on “Temporary Code.”It will only be valid for a few minutes but should be enough time to redeem the coupons. A new number and QR Code is generated every time you redeem coupons. 

How can I be sure that my coupons have been redeemed?
You can verify coupon redemption by reviewing your register receipt upon completing your purchase. 

What happens to my coupons once they are redeemed?
Once your coupons are redeemed, they are removed from your dCoupon account.

What if a coupon couldn’t be redeemed?
If a coupon is not applied to the purchase,  the requirements for the coupon weren’t met.  Check brand name, size, variety, and quantity needed for the coupon to apply. Your purchase must match the coupons requirements exactly for successful coupon redemption. 

If I return an item with which I redeemed a coupon, can I re-use this coupon?
No, once you have used a coupon, the coupon cannot be restored.  If the coupon is still available and allows for multiple downloads, you may select it again and add the coupon to your account.

What if I can not find the product desired in my grocery store?
If you can’t find the product, speak with the customer service desk about product availability, or visit another participating store.  The coupon will remain in your dCoupon account until redeemed or expired.

Can someone else use my coupons?
No. Coupons are stored in your own personal dCoupon account.

How do I change the password to my dCoupon account?
You can change your passward from the dCoupon mobile app or by visiting www.dcoupon.mxFrom the app click “Change my password” and follow the instructions on the screen.
